Steven V. Escaldi, D.O.
Medical Director of the Spasticity Management Program and Attending Physiatrist at the JFK Johnson Institute. Clinical Assistant Professor at UMDNJ Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.
Dr. Escaldi graduated from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine. He received his training at JFK Johnson Rehabilitation Institute where he also served as Chief Resident.
Dr. Escaldi’s area of practice expertise is Spasticity Management and Neurologic Rehabilitation. His research has focused on maximizing functional recovery in patients with stroke and brain injury. He has lectured locally and nationally on the topics of Stroke rehabilitation and Spasticity management. Dr. Escaldi’s most recent publication developed protocols for training physicians in the evaluation and treatment of patients with Spasticity.
