Dr. Roger Rossi received his medical Degree from the University of Des Moines. He completed a residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at New York University, the Rusk Institute of Rehabilitation, where he served as chief resident.
Presently, he is an Assistant Professor of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. He is a staff physiatrist in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the JFK Johnson Rehabilitation Institute where he serves as the Director of Medical Student Education. Dr. Rossi is board certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation as well as sports medicine. His areas of interest include musculoskeletal medicine, sports medicine, neurodegenerative disease with emphasis on Parkinson disease and Multiple sclerosis as well as pediatric rehabilitation. Dr. Rossi also serves as the Rehabilitation Medicine Director of Hartwyck at Edison Estates Sub-acute Facility.
Dr. Rossi is active in the field of Integrative Medicine. He has practiced a modality of acupuncture for more than twelve years. He is a graduate and full practice member of the American Academy of Medical Acupuncture and completed certification training through the Department of Continuing Medical Education at UCLA Berkley and Harvard Medical School. He is an eleven year member and past chairman of the New Jersey Board of Medical Examiners, Division of Acupuncture. Within the field of acupuncture, his interests include the treatment of pain and neurological disorders.
